A BESPOKE APPROACH
At the heart of my work is Taithí - a creative leadership framework I developed to support people leading in complexity. Grounded in lived experience, Taithí weaves together systems psychodynamics, arts-based methods, and critical reflective practice into a cohesive, experience-led approach. Through this lens, I work alongside leaders and teams to explore what lies beneath the surface, navigate uncertainty, and respond with clarity, creativity, and connection.
TAITHÍ
A Framework for Leading From Experience
Taithí (pronounced TAH‑hee) is the Irish word for lived experience. It captures the kind of leadership that develops not through theory, but through doing, feeling, reflecting, and being in motion with others.
This creative leadership framework brings together the three pillars of my practice - systems psychodynamics, reflective practice, and arts-based methods - into a cohesive, experience-led approach. It works across three interconnected layers:

Inner States: Grounded | Defended | Reflective
The emotional postures we move through in how we relate to ourselves and others
Creative Tensions: Intuitive | Thoughtful | Embodied
The dynamic processes that spark insight, learning, and change when we stay with complexity
Leadership Capacities: Connected | Courageous | Curious
The qualities that emerge when experience is integrated and expressed in action.

The Taithí framework supports leaders and teams to stay present in uncertainty, make meaning in motion, and lead with creativity and clarity.

PUTTING TAITHÍ INTO PRACTICE
This is where theory meets practice. Systems psychodynamics, reflective practice, and arts-based methods are the foundations that bring Taithí to life in my work with leaders and teams.

BENEATH THE SURFACE
A systems psychodynamic approach is used to explore group dynamics, and to identify known and unknown elements that may be influencing behaviour.

REFLECTIVE PRACTICE
Reflective practice invites individuals and groups to deepen their awareness, uncover assumptions, and surface new possibilities for learning and change .
ARTS-BASED METHODS
Art-based methods are ideal for understanding group dynamics and culture as they can illuminate issues which are outside of awareness.
